The Iraq War: National Security for Israel?

The people she references in this clip are telling.  Are they the architects of the Iraq War?  That’s no secret.

Richard Perle
Douglas Feith
David Wurmser
Oded Yinon

Their objective in the middle east is divide up the Arab world into smaller states.  Smaller states are weaker states.

A Strategy for Israel in the 1980s,” written by Oded Yinon, sought to divide Iraq into three parts: Babylon, Kurdistan, and Shia, which is not what Iraqis want.  All three had high-ranking positions in the 1996 Netanyahu’s Likud dministration in Israel.  Its objectives were, one, cutting off peace talks with Yasar Arafat; two, launching a military assault on the occupied territories of Palestine; and three, deposing Saddam Hussein.

In 2002, Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, and David Wurmser are now high-ranking members of the Bush Administration.  Perle headed the Defense Policy Board, which is an advisory group to the Pentagon.  A third of its members had ties to companies that received billions in war and rebuilding contracts.  Conflict of interest but no one bats an eye.

A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm” came afterwards, written in 1996 by Douglas Feith, Richard Perle, and David Wurmser.

Hurricane Katrina, 6800 members of the Louisiana and Mississippi National Guard were in Iraq.  Michael Chertoff, a Neocon and purveyor of all things TSA backscatter X-ray machines and Homeland Security Chief, was asked “Why don’t you bring the National Guards home from Iraq to help with the folks in Louisiana?  His answer was that “We would only bring them home if there an emergency.”

Rather than have Bush tell the American people that we need to send your sons and daughters to the Middle East and fight or chase down terrorists, Philip Zelikow writes a book explaining that the real reason for the Iraq War is to defend and protect Israel.  And the anti-Muslim hysteria began. That fact is cited in the book The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy by John J. Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago and Stephen M. Walt of Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.  He said “Why would Iraq make nuclear weapons and attack us with nuclear weapons?  I’ll tell you what the real reason is–to protect Israel.  But this is not a good sell to the American people.  So than have Bush that we need to send your sons and daughters to the middle east to control its oil and for Israeli national security, that is not going to go over well with the general public.  We were lied to and said Saddam Hussein did it.

“The threat that dare not speak its name.”  It’s the threat to Israel that is the top-tier concern to the U.S. State Dept.

Where does our loyalty lie?
