Productivity

TO MEASURE YOUR PRODUCTION, YOU NEED GOALS
To motivate you to acquire things, to get things done, to accomplish important things in your life, you need goals.  Goals are a good measure of your activity as well.  You need to write them down.  Why? you ask.  Writing them down means you take a more thoughtful approach to your personal goals.  There is the fable of the hare and the tortoise.  The hare runs, hops, and darts to avoid trouble.  The tortoise crawls one thick leg at a time.  It’s slower.  Its pace is methodical.  That’s what you want to be with your goals.  Go deep into your goals.  Don’t dart quickly to avoid the important things in your life.  You may need help setting goals and having conversations with them.  For that, I suggest you turn to James ClearHe comes recommended by Gary North in this post.

Measured: How long with it take?

Time Constrained: Your goal must have a deadline.  Without time constraints, how do you know what you did in the time give to the goal what was effective or productive?
